The prestigious 46th Annual EHS Congress, which will take place in the beautiful city of Prague from May 29th to 31st, 2024, is rapidly approaching. As you know, social media is one of the most effective communication and rapid interaction methods. We will also share and interact via social media during this congress. At our previous Sitges-Barcelona congress, we observed significant engagement through Instagram Stories. We aim to continue this trend at our upcoming congress. I am delighted to announce that the Instagram stories related to the congress shared by the attendees will be reposted on the EHS Instagram account. All you need to do is follow the EHS Instagram account (@eurohernias) and tag us in your post. The official hashtag for the congress is #EHS2024Prague, which will especially help us find your posts on the X platform.
Furthermore, your participation in the congress, the content of your presentations, your thoughts, plans, in short, almost everything related to the congress, will be gladly reposted if you share them in short video clips.
If you are a keynote speaker, we would like to announce your presentation by sharing the first slide of your presentation on social media. Similarly, a short video introducing yourself and your presentation would be excellent. (Maybe: a short video introducing yourself and a brief summary about your lecture would be excellent). Alternatively, if you don’t like to film a video you can just write a few sentences about your lecture for us to create an engaging post with it. The goal is to raise awareness of your lecture and allow all Hernia Friends who could be interested in hearing your topic to be there for it.
As you know, Prague is a beautiful city with its architecture and cultural richness. We know that you will take the opportunity to explore the city in your spare time during the congress. In line with this, we have organized a photo contest. The person who shares the most beautiful photo on Instagram will be awarded free participation in an EHS cadaver hernia surgery course.
